LoreBook respects intellectual property rights. This policy describes how to submit copyright notices and counter-notices for content on read.lorebook.ai and related public surfaces.

1. Submitting a notice

Send copyright notices to [email protected] or use the Report content form and select “Copyright infringement.” Include the exact public URL of the material.

A notice should include the elements listed in 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) (or equivalent requirements under applicable law, including Israeli Copyright Law):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the material and information sufficient to locate it (exact public URL).
  4. Your contact information.
  5. A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

We may also process notices submitted in DMCA format for convenience. Non-US complainants may submit equivalent information under their local law.

2. Our response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will restrict access to the cited public content where appropriate, notify the publisher when not prohibited or unsafe, and preserve evidence as required by law and our retention policy.

3. Counter-notice

If you are the publisher and believe material was disabled in error, send a counter-notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material and its location before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury where applicable that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. Consent to jurisdiction and service of process as described in our Terms of Service.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the complainant. We may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant obtains a court order preventing restoration.

4. Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

5. US DMCA agent

LoreBook accepts copyright notices at [email protected]. We do not claim registration with the U.S. Copyright Office as a designated DMCA agent unless and until such registration is completed and renewed.

6. Other intellectual property

Trademark and other IP complaints may be sent to the same address or through the Report content form.
